School of competences for the 21st century industry

The Summer School ECI XXI is an innovative offer addressed to foreign students from French and German partner universities of Lodz University of Technology.The project will have two editions of the school (winter and summer 2023) for 80 students (40 students per edition) of first and second cycle engineering studies. The program of the Summer School ECI XXI includes classes run using a modern blended learning formula, both remotely and in Łódź. Students will take part in intensive specialist courses in the field of Industry 4.0 and in a group project based on the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) concept, run in leading international companies active in the Łódź market. Also, the participants will be given an opportunity to take part in activities popularising Polish culture and promoting our country as an attractive place to study.

Thank you so much for the participation in the first edition of “School of competences for the 21st century industry” 

As a participant in the ECI XXI Summer School, you will:

Who can participate in the Summer School? 

The Summer School is addressed to students of partner universities, at first and second cycle engineering programmes.

In which language will the classes be run?

You must have knowledge of English and/or French at B2 level to participate in the Summer School.

Recruitment for the first edition lasts until June 4th 2023

Where and when does the ECI XXI Summer School take place?

     "The School of Competences for XXI Century Industry " will be held in two editions in winter and summer 2023. The exact dates will be published at a later date. It takes place in Poland, in Łódź, at Lodz University of Technology – one of the best technical universities in Poland.

What is provided by the organiser?

The organiser provides accommodation during the whole summer school, lunches, a trip to Gdańsk including transport and hotel, as well as many interesting lectures, meetings and challenges. What else? Emotions, new friends, actively and pleasantly spent time!
